Just Released! Awakening

Just released on Amazon, Awakening is a fantasy m/m romance with a legendary twist.

This story is quite different from my others. While most of what I've written and published to date is contemporary, I've always wanted to delve into fantasy. This series begins with a twist on Arthurian lore, but will ultimately mix and mash different mythologies and legends from around the world, merging them into my own creation. To all my fans, I hope you enjoy the first book in the series and look for more.

Cover & Blurb Reveal: Awakening

Hi everyone!
Once again, I've been gone a while, but I'm back with my newest upcoming M/M fantasy romance. This one is a complete rewrite based on one of the first novels I ever attempted. It's the first in what I expect will the be a 3-4 book series and is quite different than my other published books. I decided to dive into a little more fantasy, and this one has lots, from myths, legends, magic, and more... and of course, romance.

Awakening
Bound by Fate Book 1
Release date: Sep/Oct 2017

Nearly one thousand years after King Arthur died, the Kingdom of Loegria still awaits the return of the lost heir—the rumored child of Arthur and Guinevere. So many centuries have passed that many no longer believe, and the stories of an heir have slipped into legend.

There are some, however, that sill believe.

Like most children, Trystan Caillot grew up on stories of King Arthur. Stories of Camelot and magic, of great battles and the lost heir. Emrys Wyllt, a man he deems his truest friend, has shared in his passion, but in recent months, Trystan can’t help but sense a longing in Emrys that he’s never seen before. After his father’s murder, that unsettling feeling that Emrys is hiding something grows. Strange dreams taunt Trystan’s memory and deeper emotions weave their way into Trystan’s heart.

Years ago, Emrys Wyllt swore an oath. Since then, he has protected Trystan from the dangers of his past, but the time is nearing when Trystan will need to know the truth of who he is. First, however, Emrys needs to regain control of his emotions. As more time passes, hiding his love for Trystan becomes a near impossible task, but Emrys knows he must. Trystan can’t love him. If he does, he could die.

Marc, Regent Prince of Loegria, has never forgotten the day he met Trystan as a boy. His heart hasn’t been whole since. When he happens upon Trystan in the castle garden after twelve long years, it’s all Marc can do not to kiss him. After all, Trystan may not remember him.

But Trystan does remember, and he finds himself drawn to Marc in ways he can’t explain. As Trystan’s spirit awakens, so too does a threat from his past. Someone wants him dead, but an old prophecy provides the key, and fate provides the path.

Blurb Reveal for Before It's Too Late

You've seen the cover, now read what the story is about. Oh, and yes, this will be the third book in the Troubled Hearts series.

Before It's Too Late
Book 3 of the Troubled Hearts series
Release date: Feb/Mar 2017

You fell in love. Just not with me.

Zach Rivas is a family man, or at least, he wants to be. It’s what he’s wanted for years, and it was within his grasp until a couple months ago, when his fiancĂ© broke their engagement. Now, Zach is more lost and alone than ever before, because he’s started to believe that what he wants is out of reach or perhaps, simply not meant to be.

You still haven't told him, have you?

Cael Manning didn’t mean to fall in love with his best friend. It just sort of happened. No big deal, right? Wrong. Zach isn’t gay, and Cael isn’t foolish enough to hope that the closeness they share as friends could ever be anything more.

Abbey might not make it.

When a tragic car accident leaves Zach’s sister in the hospital indefinitely, Zach is faced with having to care for his sixteen-month old niece, Taylor. Cael, of course, is right there to help without a second thought. Spending quality time with Taylor and Cael gives Zach a glimpse of the family life he’s wanted for so long. For Cael, unexpected, intimate moments tempt him to reveal how he really feels, but Zach and Taylor are his priority, and he can’t burden Zach anymore than he already is right now with the truth.

Open your eyes, Zach, before it's too late.

Emotionally stressed, Zach leans on Cael more and more, and slowly comes to realize that his best friend may be the person he’s been looking for all along. Even that realization hurts, however, because Cael has always made it perfectly clear that he doesn't want a relationship with anyone, ever.

Isn't it obvious?

Everyone else can see that Zach and Cael's happiness is with each other. If they could only see it for themselves, they each might just get everything they've always wanted.

Just Released! Wild Fate

Wild Fate, my newest novella released June 1st, is a story from the Dreamspinner Press 2016 Daily Dose package "A Walk on the Wild Side."

This is the first paranormal gay romance I've written, and I have to say it was certainly a lot of fun. While most of what I've written and published is contemporary romance, I have a desire to spread my wings and cross into other genres while still keeping male/male romance at the heart of my stories. In the future, I hope to add a some historical, western, and a romance comedy by brain's been cooking up for a while.

For now, I give you Wild Fate.

Caden Wells is finally on his way to the Alaskan wilderness, fulfilling a dream he’s had since he was a boy. He’s looking forward to solitary hikes and photographing wildlife. Upon arrival, he’s drawn to his guide’s brother, Drake Fisher, a man who resembles beast more than man. Drake’s unexpected interest surprises Caden, but when Drake claims fate has brought them together and that he’s a shapeshifter, Caden’s confusion turns to shock.

With the help of Drake’s brother, Dean, and Dean’s family, Caden realizes there must be some truth to Drake’s story. On his way to question Drake, the knowledge in his heart that something is wrong is confirmed by reports of poachers in the area. Caden sets out to save Drake, along with the life and love that have been waiting for him in Alaska all along.

My Thoughts on Broken...

It's about healing, love, and family...

It took me a while to finally release the second book of the Troubled Hearts series, but I wanted to make sure I got it right. Hopefully, I did.

Broken touches on a few difficult topics that many people never have to deal with: kids growing up in foster care, teen suicide, rape, verbal abuse from family members who object to their children being gay, and the psychological pain that comes from being physically different. I tried not to skim over them too lightly; they are serious topics. But I also didn't want to weigh the story down with too much pain. I wanted this story to be more about finding love and family and the healing that comes with them. I wanted Lucas to grow up a little and fight for what was important to him. I wanted Jordan to see what was right in front of him. I wanted both of them to have faults and find acceptance in each other. I hope I delivered.

If you have a few hours, I hope you'll take a chance and read Lucas and Jordan's story. I'd also love to hear what you think if you do. In the meantime, I'm working on a few more, though I've yet to decide which story will be the third in the series.

Until next time...

Love,
Savannah
